Advocacy Day 2015 , February 25th

Advocacy Day Event Flyer 2015

Advocacy Day Event Flyer 2015

It’s time for NCLA’s annual Advocacy Day bus trip to Albany!  We need as many library advocates as possible to communicate to our legislators the importance of libraries in New York State.    We encourage all library staff, administrators, trustees, Friends groups and members of the public to attend.

In traveling to Albany you’ll spend a memorable day with your colleagues.  You will begin your trip on a luxury motor coach.  Bring a beverage of your choice and we’ll provide the bagels with all the trimmings.  During the trip you will be given briefing packets and backup information regarding the legislative issues important to Long Island libraries.  Sandwiches and beverages will be served on the trip back.  You’ll be surrounded with lively conversation, camaraderie and a sense of achievement.

This year NCLA is only sponsoring ONE bus to Albany. It will be departing on Wednesday, February 25 at 6:30 a.m. from the NLS parking lot. For any questions call Ken Bellafiore at the Freeport Memorial Library, 516 379‐3274.  Spaces are limited so register early!

To register please send the attached form to Roseanne Dorfman c/o Nassau Library System or email with “Advocacy Day” in the subject line. This trip is free.
